Consumer products

Put the product in the room. Let the press do the rest.

Headphones, speakers, instruments, DJ gear, and crowdfunded products. The story starts when a writer, a creator, or a buyer actually hears it or uses it.

Why it is different

A spec sheet gets a reply. Use gets the story.

Hardware is judged in someone’s hands. Audio is judged by ear. Neither is judged in a release. Consumer launches also serve four audiences at once: reviewers, creators, retail buyers, and the people who already live in the category. We plan for all four, from Nashville and London. US and UK desks do not share lead times, tone, or outlet structure. The product story stays. The pitch does not.

The job

What a consumer product PR firm is for

Getting the product covered, reviewed, and recommended by the media and creators your buyers already trust. That means review units and embargoes, hands-on moments, gift-guide timing, crowdfunding windows, and the trade, enthusiast, audio, music, and lifestyle outlets in the category. We work on audio (headphones, speakers, instruments, and DJ gear), consumer electronics, accessories, and collector products that have to land in both the US and the UK. Past and present clients include Harman/JBL, Sony, Pioneer, Korg, Griffin, and Astro.

What we do

The launch is more than the release.

01

Launch strategy and timeline

Messaging, a date, and an embargo built around when the product can actually be in hands.

02

Press kits and review programs

Who gets hardware, when, and the facts a reviewer needs: specs, images, price, availability, a person to call.

03

Hands-on moments

Listening sessions, demos, and hands-on events for press, creators, and buyers, built around the one thing someone has to hear or try before they believe it.

04

Crowdfunding PR

Kickstarter and Indiegogo. Before the page is public, through the quiet middle, and into the last push.

05

Ongoing product press

New SKUs, collaborations, and seasonal moments, so coverage is a presence and not a one-week spike.

06

Social and creators

Add-on outreach to the communities that already care. Press, creators, and fans hear the same story. Paid and gifted creator content is clearly labelled, in line with FTC guidance in the US and ASA and CMA rules in the UK.

How we work

Find the proof. Then pitch it.

01

Name the proof point

Sound, feel, build, or what it protects. For audio, it is nearly always the sound. The launch is designed around that, not around a feature list.

02

Build the kit and the list

Materials, a review-unit plan, an embargo, and a list organized by community. Outlet size is not the strategy.

03

Launch in hands

Units, events, and briefings timed so coverage and availability line up in the US and the UK.

04

Report the story

Who wrote, where the message showed up, and what to do next. A raw impression total is not the result.

Questions

Before you lock the date.

How early should PR join a product launch?

Before the date is locked. Review units, embargoes, and long-lead outlets all depend on timing. It is easier to plan around them than to squeeze them in after the calendar is public.

Do you work with audio brands?

Yes. Headphones, speakers, instruments, and DJ gear. Past and present clients include Harman/JBL, Pioneer, Korg, and Astro. Audio is judged by ear, so we plan the listening moment first.

Do you handle review units and embargoes?

Yes. Who receives product, when, and under what embargo. Reviewers also get the specs, imagery, pricing, and availability they need to file.

Can you run PR for a Kickstarter or Indiegogo?

Yes. Pre-launch materials and outreach, launch-day coverage, and planned news through the end of the campaign. The middle of a campaign is where most of them stall.

Do you work in both the US and the UK?

Yes. Nashville and London. One product story, adapted for angle, timing, and outlets in each market.

Do you guarantee coverage?

No. Earned media is earned. No agency can honestly promise a placement. What we can promise is a clear story, a real plan, and pitching to the people most likely to care.

How is pricing structured?

We scope the project around the goals and the date, and we quote it. Ongoing press is available after launch. There is no rate card on this site.
